Paradox didn’t even provide descriptions or other storyline teasers, but if you’d like to see these new renders you can view them here.

Paradox shared some new screenshots of the game in progress, albeit these are only some new backgrounds. It got so bad that senior narrative designer Cara Ellison also bolted the project soon thereafter.Īll of these issues playing out through the years definitely meant that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has gone through plenty of changes, so much so that the earliest screenshots Paradox shared may no longer accurately represent the final product. In particular, the firing of two creative leads, Ka’ai Cluney and Brian Mitsoda, seems to have done real damage to the production. Paradox has issued an update on Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, but there's still no release date or solid information on its developer. If you don’t quite remember, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 came close to being cancelled, and at one point lost its entire development studio. While four years is a normal period of time to produce a AAA game (might even be too short nowadays), Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 also faced numerous challenges in its development. For what it’s worth, Paradox announced the game all the way back in 2019.
